CHRIS BOICE
DOUGLAS COUNTY COMMISSIONER
Chris Boice has worked to keep county government financially strong, support public safety, and stay actively involved in the community he proudly serves. His commitment to Douglas County isn’t a campaign promise — it’s who he is. That’s why he became Commissioner.
Chris Boice knows this county from the ground up through decades of hands-on business experience, volunteer Search & Rescue missions, and strong support for local veterans, youth and families. Chris Boice understands the real pressures facing Douglas County families: good jobs, relief from high taxes, housing affordability, and finding solutions to homelessness.
While many issues are controlled by state law, he leads county government with practical, out-of-the-box thinking and strict fiscal responsibility — ensuring every decision and every dollar delivers real ROI for the next generation.

Real leadership doesn’t start with a title.
It starts with action.
Most politicians get involved after they win.
"I’ve been showing up for Douglas County for 20+ years—supporting 4-H, FFA, veterans, widows and seniors, and families in need. Community isn’t a campaign promise for me. It’s who I’ve always been.
I became Commissioner because I was already committed. Not the other way around. That’s the difference—and that’s why I’m asking for your vote again.”
- Commissioner Chris Boice
"I am proud to support Commissioner Chris Boice for Douglas County Commissioner. I first met Chris nearly 20 years ago when I was coaching his son, Alden. At that time, I knew Chris primarily as a local businessman who cared deeply about his family and our community. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know him very well, and that first impression has only been reinforced. Chris is a good, ethical businessman who understands what it takes to create jobs, make responsible decisions, and serve people with honesty. Those same qualities are exactly what he has brought to the Douglas County Board of Commissioners. During his time in office, he has led with integrity, always keeping the interests of our citizens front and center."
